Courteney Nickodem is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. Courteney graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Kentucky majoring in Family Science and minoring in Psychology. She continued her education at Eastern Kentucky University and received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is qualified and trained to provide mental health counseling to individuals in the outpatient counseling setting. 

Courteney works with individuals ranging from ages 12 and older with a wide variety of mental health concerns, which include but not limited to, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, mood and behavioral disorders. With an option to provide an emphasis of faith-based counseling, Courteney has a passion for helping her clients find their true potential. She utilizes evidenced-based practices and therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, client centered therapy, while using a strength-based approach.

Courteney’s approach allows clients to achieve their goals in a safe, non-judgmental and caring environment. She looks forward to working with you.
