Jessica is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which is an evidence-based psychotherapy that combines principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy with concepts of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
DBT helps individuals develop skills to better manage intense emotions, reduce self-destructive behaviors, improve relationships, and live a life aligned with their values.
Additionally, Jessica is a Certified Mental Health and Nutrition Clinical Specialist (CMNCS). Her nutrition certification covers a holistic, integrative approach addressing areas such as:
-Sleep management through proper nutrition and lifestyle
-Nutritional support for conditions across the lifespan like sleep, anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD
Jessica utilizes a strengths-based, client-centered approach combining evidence-based methodologies like DBT, CBT and nutritional psychoeducation. Further, she enjoys helping individuals, particularly children, adolescents, and teens, address mental health concerns, including trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and oppositional behaviors. Her goal is to support clients holistically in meeting their treatment goals.
