Our providers make us who we are today. On average, they have 8-10 years of experience, are leaders in their fields, have experience in psychiatric and substance abuse care across multiple levels of services, and have arrived at a place in their career where it is time to be rewarded. Some join us brand new or even sooner as students or under clinical supervision. OUR MISSION REQUIRES GOOD PEOPLE THAT CARE. In turn, that is who we are. Our practice is steady, stable, and grows annually. We are selective, but rewarding. Our office is fast paced and requires an energetic positive attitude every single day. Our philosophy is to work hard, play hard and reward immensely. At times, our owner and other providers will roll up their sleeves and help with the daily tasks that a busy mental health practice can provide. We don't see people on different levels at Lexington Counseling and Psychiatry, everyone is treated the same regardless of their education or role. Our workplace was invented to let everyone contribute and everyone to reap the rewards of how hard we all work. Our mission is simple. We want to provide the highest quality of outpatient mental health services to regular, everyday people here in Central Kentucky. For over 22 years we have. Join us!
Here are some details for Providers seeking to join us.
- You set your own reasonable schedule. To us, that means a reasonable amount of people that won't burn you out.
- No one sees 40 clients a week here as a therapist.
- Most appointments are 55 minutes.
- Psychiatry appts. are 1 hour & follow ups are 20 minutes.
- Our Administrative Staff answers the phone, schedules clients/patients, and helps with all aspects of the process.
- Providers have full schedules. Our waiting list is long.
- Our group has a vast amount of experience and clinical diversity that provides support to each other.
- We provide biweekly clinical staffings via zoom. Your choice.
- We do not take Medicaid or Medicare at present.
- Our clinicians are reimbursed on a percentage basis.
- Call any of providers on our location page and ask them about pay, schedule, clinical environment, etc..
- Our reimbursement rates are high and our people are paid well. Since we only take commercial plans, we don't have the nightmares of government sponsored plans.
- Our offices are nice, clean, and comfortable. When you join us for at least 24 hours a week or more, the office is yours.
- We will never stop being an in person practice.
- Our EMR (Electronic Medical Record) is one of the easiest, yet most comprehensive in the industry. All transactions are transparent forever. You can see every transaction, forever.
- Time off is up to you. We like to be notified in advance so our administrative staff and management know how to handle emergencies and calls/walk ins for your clients.
- Our practice provides approximately 30 hours a year in professional training free of charge to you.
