Amanda is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Amanda received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of Kentucky and her Master’s Degree from Eastern Kentucky University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Amanda is qualified and trained to treat adults suffering from mental health issues. She has experience working with clients with a variety of different concerns including: depression, anxiety, grief, relational problems, substance abuse/addiction, mood disorders, and stress. Amanda utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and client centered therapy. She provides clients with a safe, non judgement environment to help foster personal growth and development. She engages and encourages clients to self reflect and look through their life with a difference lense. She believes that everyone has the ability to change and live a fulfilling life and will work just as hard as you to help you achieve your goals and enhance your overall well being.
